Protect yourself from COVID-19
If you are experiencing symptoms, or have been in close contact with a confirmed case, please self-isolate and contact the Manitoulin Health Centre to book an appointment. To book an appointment, call (705) 368-2300 during regular business hours.
When you go out, make sure to follow public health guidance—wash your hands, cover your cough or sneeze with your arm or a tissue, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, follow all the steps of physical distancing, wear your face covering, and stay home when ill.
If you are having difficulty breathing or are experiencing other severe symptoms, call 911.

Appointments can be booked online through the provincial online booking system at covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine and through the local call centre at 705.674.2299 (toll-free: 1.800.708.2505).

UPDATE: February 9th, 2022
- Booster doses (third doses) should be offered to the following populations at a minimum interval of three months (84 days) or longer between their second and booster dose:
- First Nations, Inuit and Metis individuals who are 12 years of age and older, and
- Non-indigenous individuals who are either 12-17 years of age and have an underlying medical condition as per Ontario Ministry of Health Guidance, third dose recommendations document,
- Health Care Workers who are 16 years of age and older and individuals who are 18 years of age and older are eligible.
