NOTICE: from Public Health Sudbury & Districts
January 5, 2022
mRNA COVID-19 vaccine All Public Health clinics offer one of two mRNA vaccine brands—either Moderna Spikevax or the pediatric and adult dose of Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty. Public Health Sudbury & Districts understands that shipments of adult vaccines will be limited to Moderna Spikevax vaccine for the next period of time. Individuals 30 years of age and older will be offered Moderna Spikevax vaccine until additional vaccine supply is received. A reminder that for those 30 and older, the adult dose of Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty and Moderna Spikevax vaccines can be safely interchanged. Based on vaccine supplies, the vaccine brand planned for use at any clinic is subject to change, possibly with limited notice. We encourage you to ask our immunizers for more information to help you make an informed decision and feel comfortable about getting either vaccine brand. Aanii - Welcome

Noojmowin Teg Health Centre is proud to present a new look and a new website.

The content is intended to be reflective of our mission and mandate, expanded services to indigenous people living both in the Manitoulin Island and Espanola area, and of being an Anishinabek primary health care service.

We trust you will find the site to be more user-friendly and easier to navigate. New features include accessibility options for visually impaired visitors (at the bottom of your screen), improved website menu, and greater use of culturally relevant graphics and media.

Our website is one of the many media tools we will be using to more effectively communicate with community members (the clients we serve), our partners and potentially new staff.  You are invited to return to our site often to see new developments, updates and current information.

If you have any recommendations on how we can further improve our site, we welcome your feedback.

You can contact us at info@noojmowin-teg.ca.
